Infocomm Club
The Infocomm Club aims to equip its members with essential and relevant skills that enable them to create works through the use of a range of digital media. The pupils will be trained in the following modules:
Digital Photography
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Flash
Videography
Dreamweaver
Pupils learn the skills through engaging in hands-on activities. They also get to apply the skills learnt as they embark on projects. By working together on projects, they also learn the value of teamwork and collaboration. Members of the Infocomm Club put the school motto, Service Before Self, into action by participating in monthly CIP activities. Pupils contribute towards improving the school environment by designing posters that not only beautify the school surroundings but also serve to educate the school community. Pupils with a keen interest in the technical aspect are exposed to simple maintenance of IT and AV equipment.
Pupils who are proficient in photography and videography are given the opportunity to contribute to the school by capturing memorable moments of major school events, such as the Sports Carnival and Prize Presentation Day. Besides opportunities in school, pupils who show potential will represent the school to participate in competitions at national level, such as the annual Schools Digital Media Awards.
