Counselling
The school counselling services provide support and resources to pupils, their families, teachers, Allied Educators and external professionals.
The primary goal of school counselling services is to enhance and promote pupils’ learning. We work closely with MOE’s Educational Psychologist, Guidance Officer and REACH Team from Child Guidance Clinic
Counselling Services
Walk-in or referral by Form Teachers based on the school Stage Referral Model.
Support Programmes
KIDSLine Programme – Primary 1 – Primary 4
Rainbows Programme – Primary 5 & Primary 6
Kembara Programmes – P3 – P6 Malay speaking pupils
S.T.A.R. (Stop, Think, Act, Reflect) Programme – Selected pupils identified by the teachers to equip them with coping strategies to manage their emotions. The programme is conducted through interactive hands-on sessions in small groups or individually.
International Pupils Support Group Programme (IPSG)– Primary 1 International Pupils
IPSG endeavours to assist Primary 1 international pupils cope with the stress and confusion of being in a new country with various cultures. It aims to highlight the cohesive harmonious living in Singapore and in the school so as to arrest any social and emotional problems for early intervention.
A learning journey on ‘Exploring Singapore’ is planned at the end of the IPSG Programme to highlight the cultural places of Singapore. It is conducted with the assistance of Primary 5 and Primary 6 international pupils, international Parents Support Group members, Co-Curricular Programme Executive and the Allied Educators
