Learning Outcomes Minimize

1. Pupils are able to engage in electronic collaboration and communication.
2. Pupils are able to use and create structured electronic documents.
3. Pupils are able to do technology-enhanced presentations.
4. Pupils are able to use information retrieval systems for research.
5. Pupils understand and stay current with legal, ethical and security issues in Information Technology.





The Learning Outcomes can be summarised under two Key Stages:

Key Stage 1: Primary 1-3

1. Gather and record information.
2. Present information.

ICT Focus:

1. Perform basic ICT operations.
2. Access digital resources.
3. Create a short presentation with text, pictures and sound clips.


Key Stage 2: Primary 4-6
1. Gather and record information.
2. Organise information.
3. Communicate information and ideas.
4. Recognise and address cyberwellness issues.

ICT Focus:
1. Use the Internet for email and searches.
2. Create, edit and format text in word processors, spreadsheets and presentation tools.
3. Produce a short presentation with available multimedia elements.
4. Use ICT tools to collect data.
